Vijendra Nambiar
Pension Solutions Strategist
Mr. Nambiar is an executive vice president and pension solutions strategist in the Newport Beach office. He leads PIMCO's pension solutions team, and specializes in liability-driven investments, asset allocation, and asset-liability management strategies tailored for pension plans and insurance companies. Prior to joining PIMCO in 2009, he was with Towers Perrin, where he conducted actuarial valuations and asset-liability studies. He has 15 years of investment experience and holds an undergraduate degree in actuarial science from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and a master's degree in financial engineering from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor.
